Guy Ahonen is previous professor of Knowledge Management, especially Human Resource Accounting, at Hanken School of Economics (Hanken), and Research Professor at the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health (FIOH) in Finland. He has been Director of the Research institute at Hanken and Director of the Institute for Advanced Training in Occupational Health (NIVA). He is best known for his research on human research reporting and calculation of the financial effects of promotion of work well-being. In 2005 he was awarded the national Work Environment Award in Finland. In 2016 he co-published the Managent of Strategic Well-being (in Finnish), which summarizes the findings of annaual surveys among Finnish enteprises since 2009.
